About the Vocalises
Mathilde Marchesi’s twelve elementary vocalises, Op. 13: short singing studies by the Paris voice teacher of the 1880s, read on brass and winds as the Bordogni and Concone vocalises are.

Engraved like a printed part
Each study is transposed and re-clefed into the instrument's range and engraved at a 7.5 mm staff with a printer's margins. A short study shares a page rather than leave half of one empty, and a long one opens on a spread: never a turn inside a study.
