About the Twenty Brilliant and Characteristic Etudes, Op. 73
Charles Dancla’s Twenty Brilliant and Characteristic Etudes, Op. 73, for violin, from his Paris Conservatoire class in the second half of the nineteenth century: concert studies, each with a character of its own.
Each study is transposed and re-clefed into the instrument's range and engraved at a 7.5 mm staff with a printer's margins, one study to a page or a spread, never a turn inside a study.

Cut for viola
Every study sits in and reads in its clef, so nothing has to be transposed at the stand.
